The consortium of Sinohydro Corp. Ltd under PowerChina and Thai listed company TRC signed the EPC contract for a potash mine ground facility construction project with Thai company Asean Potash Chaiyaphum Public Company (APOT) on August 23 in Bangkok.
According to PowerChina, the APOT potash mine project is located Chaiyaphum province, Thailand. The overground part the consortium to construct includes 26 kilometers of raw water pipelines, a potash fertilizer processing plants and supporting facilities, 7.5 kilometers of waste conveyor belts, waste water pipelines, waste processing plants and waste water pools.
The consortium received the bid-winning notice from the owner on April 20, 2018.
