TOKYO, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 109 yen zone early Thursday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 109.36-37 yen compared with 109.38-48 yen in New York and 109.25-26 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The euro fetched 1.2170-2170 and 133.10-14 yen against 1.2155-2165 dollars and 133.03-13 yen in New York and 1.2188-2189 dollars and 133.16-20 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
