TOKYO, Aug. 29. (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar was rangebound around the 106 yen line in Tokyo on Thursday as the market mood remained cautious amid ongoing trade issues and concerns over a possible no-deal exit from the European Union by Britain.
The dollar was quoted at 106.10-11 yen at 5 p.m., compared with 106.08-18 yen in New York and 105.73-75 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
During the day, it tracked between 105.83 yen and 106.17 yen, trading most often at the 105.92 yen mark.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1082-1083 dollars and 117.58-62 yen against 1.1072-1082 dollars and 117.48-58 yen in New York, and 1.1092-1094 dollars and 117.28-32 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
