TOKYO, June 6 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 108 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 108.33-34 yen, compared with 108.41-51 yen in New York and 108.24-25 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1228-1229 dollars and 121.64-65 yen against 1.1215-1225 dollars and 121.64-74 yen in New York, and 1.1267-1268 dollars and 121.96-122.00 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
