LUANDA, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Foreign Exchange Reserves in Angola increased to 9.8 billion U.S. dollars in July from 9.5 billion U.S. dollars in June of 2019, according to a report released by the Central Bank of Angola (BNA) on Friday.
According to the report, July has also reached the highest record in 2019 following this year's first four months record low.
BNA says it made available 127.1 million U.S. dollars for private sector in July against 122.1 million U.S. dollars it granted in June for residents, except central administration, while banknotes made available to the public were estimated at 926.2 million U.S. dollars.
