HOUSTON, June 12 (Xinhua) -- U.S. crude oil refinery inputs increased during the week ending June 7, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Wednesday.
U.S. crude oil refinery inputs averaged 17.1 million barrels per day (b/d) last week, 126,000 b/d more than the previous week's average. Refineries operated at 93.2 percent of their operable capacity last week.
Gasoline production increased while distillate fuel production decreased last week, averaging 10.3 million b/d and 5.2 million b/d respectively, according to the EIA.
Total products supplied over the last four-week period averaged 20.4 million b/d, down by 0.1 percent from the same period last year.
Over the past four weeks, motor gasoline product supplied averaged 9.5 million b/d, down by 0.2 percent from the same period last year.
Distillate fuel product supplied averaged 4.0 million b/d over the past four weeks, down by 0.2 percent from the same period last year. Jet fuel product supplied was up 5.4 percent compared with the same four-week period last year, said the EIA.
