Morocco and the Republic of the Congo vowed here on Thursday to further deepen bilateral relations.
Following a meeting with his counterpart Jean Claude Gakosso, Morocco's Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita told the press that their talks focused on the various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Bourita also said the two countries agreed on some important measures aimed at developing the relations, including the opening of a diplomatic office in Brazzaville to consolidate economic relations, political dialogue and human ties between the two countries.
He also said the third session of the Joint Bilateral Commission will be held in Brazzaville, as the last session was held in Rabat in 2012.
For his part, Gakosso deemed relations with Morocco as "very solid," adding that his country "has strongly supported" the return of Morocco to the African Union.
