LONDON, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 1.04 percent, or 74.76 points, to close at 7,281.94 points.
Experian, a global information services company, soared 3.02 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. AstraZeneca and Intertek Group increased by 2.94 percent and 2.87 percent, respectively.
Micro Focus International, a multinational software and information technology business, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 1.91 percent.
