FRANKFURT, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 114.18 points, or 0.96 percent, to close at 12,025.04 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.53 percent. Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and automotive supplier Continental rose by 3.48 percent and 3.30 percent respectively..
Housing association Vonovia lost the most among the blue chips, falling 0.61 percent. Multinational chemical firm Linde went down by 0.32 percent.
