TOKYO, July 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 108 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York late last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 108.63-67 yen, compared with 108.63-73 yen in New York and 108.62-63 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1130-1130 dollars and 120.91-92 yen against 1.1124-1134 dollars and 120.87-97 yen in New York, and 1.1134-1135 dollars and 120.94-98 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
