TOKYO, July 18 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 107 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 107.94-95 yen, compared with 107.89-99 yen in New York and 108.26-27 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1227-1228 dollars and 121.19-23 yen against 1.1221-1231 dollars and 121.13-23 yen in New York, and 1.1206-1208 dollars and 121.32-36 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
