PARIS, June 13 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Thursday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.01 percent, or 0.71 points, to close at 5,375.63 points.
French tire manufacturer Michelin (CGDE) advanced 2.70 percent. UK-based company that provides complete project life cycle services TechnipFMC rose 2.09 percent and European software company Dassault Systems rose 2.07 percent.
French multinational investment bank and financial services company Societe Generale went down by 1.67 percent. French multinational electric utility company Engie S.A. and French multinational automotive supplier Valeo lost 1.50 percent and 1.15 percent respectively. Enditem
