MADRID, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares closed flat on Thursday, with the benchmark index Ibex-35 up 0.09 percent, or 8.60 points, to end at 9,247.10 points.
A total of 23 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the session.
Energy company Ence advanced 4.77 percent, media company Mediaset went up 3.67 percent and steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal was up 2.16 percent.
Spanish company Telefonica lost 1.34 percent, Spain's fourth largest bank Bankia went down 0.91 percent and Spanish lender Bankinter was down 0.83 percent. Enditem
