China's CPI up 2.7% in June

BEIJING - China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, rose 2.7 percent year-on-year in June, unchanged from May, the National Bureau of Statistics said Wednesday.

The fresh fruit prices rose 5.1 percent compared with the previous month, contributing 0.11 percentage points to CPI growth.
