SHANGHAI, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures opened higher Tuesday on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for June delivery was up 8.3 yuan (about 1.24 U.S. dollars) to open at 494.5 yuan a barrel.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investors, in March 2018.
