BEIJING, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares trended mixed at midday Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropping 0.32 percent to close at 2,712.43 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.06 percent to 8,176.31 points at midday.
