Chinese stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.58 percent, at 3,170.36 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 3.64 percent higher at 10,267.70 points.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, rose 3.98 percent to close at 1,760.89 points.
