Iron ore futures open lower

DALIAN, March 19 (Xinhua)-- Iron ore futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active iron ore contract for May delivery dipped 1.5 yuan (0.22 U.S. dollars) to open at 633 yuan per tonne.

As the world's largest importer of iron ore, China opened the DCE iron ore futures to international investors in May 2018.
