The Marine Summit Forum, held June 12-13, will serve as an important event at the upcoming 2017 South-Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF), focusing on the utilization and protection of biological marine resources.
Sponsored by the Yunnan Provincial Government, the State Oceanic Administration and Ocean University of China, the forum will be themed around advancing the significant role of marine economic cooperation throughout Belt and Road regions.
The summit forum will cover the policies of international marine management and marine biopharmaceuticals. Some 12 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering have been invited to join the forum.
This year's SSACEIF will take place in Kunming from June 12 to 18, and is aimed at promoting communication between China and South-Southeast Asian countries.
