The Republic of Indonesia has received financing in the amount of US$ 450,000,000 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Affordable Housing Program (NAHP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for consulting services, related services, and goods to be procured under this project.

The project will include the following components: (i) Mortgage Linked Down Payment Assistance, (ii) Home Improvement Assistance, and (iii) Technical Assistance for Housing Policy Reform in which the implementing agency will hire several consulting services both firm and individual, non-consulting services, and procurement of goods.

Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011, revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, revised July 2014 (“Consultant Guidelines”).

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and for contracts for consultancy services will be announced, as they become available, in United Nations Development Business (UNDB online) and SPSE e-procurement system of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
